As a performer, he has played on stages across the United States and Europe and has served as bandleader and musical director for his acclaimed group Third Door Down for over 15 years.
Casey's strong commitment to spreading the hands-on experience of music can be seen in his volunteer teaching at the local elementary level, bringing music directly to the next generation.
Casey is one of a long line of Arrillaga musicians tracing back over 100 years to composer Santiago Arrillaga (author of "Al Fin") and San Francisco' s Arrillaga Musical College. Having been raised in an environment surrounded by music, it is little surprise that Casey followed the call of both teaching and composition in his own life.
